Anti-Slavery & Human Trafficking Policy

1. Policy statement
Firenza Fire Prevention Limited is committed to conducting business ethically and with integrity. We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking in all its forms. We are dedicated to ensuring that slavery and human trafficking do not occur within our business operations or supply chains.

This policy reflects our commitment to acting responsibly and transparently in compliance with the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015.

2. Scope
This policy applies to all individuals working for or on behalf of Firenza Fire Prevention Limited, including:
• Employees
• Directors
• Contractors and subcontractors
• Agency workers
• Suppliers and business partners

3. Definition of modern slavery
Modern slavery includes, but is not limited to:
• Slavery, servitude, and forced or compulsory labour
• Human trafficking
• Debt bondage
• Exploitation of workers

4. Our commitments
Firenza Fire Prevention Limited will:
• Operate with integrity and transparency in all business dealings
• Ensure fair and lawful treatment of all employees and workers
• Pay at least the National Minimum Wage/National Living Wage
• Provide safe working conditions
• Prohibit the use of forced, bonded, or involuntary labour
• Not knowingly engage with any organisation involved in modern slavery

5. Supply chain responsibility
We recognise that risks of modern slavery can exist within supply chains. To mitigate these risks, we will:
• Conduct due diligence on suppliers where appropriate
• Expect suppliers to adhere to ethical labour practices
• Include anti-slavery provisions in supplier agreements where possible
• Take action if any supplier is found to be in breach of this policy

All employees are expected to:

• Be alert to potential signs of modern slavery
• Report concerns promptly
• Failure to comply with this policy may result in disciplinary action.

7. Reporting concerns
Employees and third parties are encouraged to report any concerns related to modern slavery or human trafficking.
Reports can be made to:
• A line manager
• Company director

All reports will be treated seriously and confidentially. Firenza Fire Prevention Limited will ensure that no individual suffers retaliation for raising concerns in good faith.

8. Training and awareness
Where appropriate, Firenza Fire Prevention Limited will provide training to employees to help them:
• Identify signs of modern slavery
• Understand their responsibilities under this policy

9. Policy review
This policy will be reviewed annually and updated as necessary to ensure continued compliance with legal requirements and best practices.

10. Approval
This policy has been approved by the management of Firenza Fire Prevention Limited and is effective as of the date of issue.
